What is your background?
While I was born in Poland, I spent most of my life in New York City. I am fluent in Polish and English language. I have moved to New York to attend Baruch College, majoring in Accounting. I passed the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) Exam and obtained Certified Public Accountant license. Accounting was always my passion. My goal was to open my own practice to be able help and work with vast variety of clients from different professions and fields.

Why should I use CPA?
CPAs must pass a comprehensive 2 day exam covering all aspects of accounting. In addition relevant work experience, a background check and an ethics exam must be completed before the state will issue a CPA certificate. To stay current on issues, 40 hours of continuing education are also required every year. This is what differ us, CPAs, from “agents” and “notarios”

What type of clients do you handle?
Most of my clients are individuals requiring tax preparation. It is sometimes the only service they need from me, or sometimes it is the final step in my yearly accounting work with clients. I do serve vast variety of client, as well as different size companies. I am pretty flexible and try to adjust to services particular client may need.

What is required of me?
Since I deal with individuals and businesses, I understand tax and accounting issues are not and should not be your most important concern. I make your record keeping as simple and quick as possible. I also take the time to answer all of your questions in full.

What fees are charged?
I know price is a critical factor. Like any service the cost varies based on the time it takes. As a guide, most personal tax returns average $120-$450. However, if you own a business, have many investments or some other tax complexity your fees will be higher. Feel free to call to discuss your situation and I’ll be able to give you a more accurate quote.

What else does the fee include?
When I finish your tax return, accounting or consulting project that is the start of my service not the end. I will answer any questions you have during the current year by phone or email at no charge. A quick call during the year can often save a great deal in taxes at the next year-end.

What about the IRS and other government agencies?
Although everyone dreads an audit I stand behind any work I do. As a CPA, I can act as your legal representative before the IRS. This way I can go in your place to a tax audit. Additional fees will apply to any audit.

What is the next step?
The next step is completely up to you. If you would like to discuss this further please give me a call at (718) 522-6277, email or fill out the request info sheet.
